Johnson

NE Patriots' Linebackers Coach, joins our fight!

“During Bowl For Life’s first bone marrow registration drive in 1998, I was struck by how few African Americans were in attendance. But when one of my close friends ended up being a match for a 40 year-old African American woman, I realized that it takes just one person to make a life-saving difference."

He continued, “Blood cancers and related diseases often turn fatal for African American, Asian and Hispanic patients, who have a significantly lowered chance of finding a life-saving match. My hope is that we can bring awareness to the urgent need for bone marrow donors from all groups, particularly racial minorities.”
